Well, I was awake early this morning but managed to doze until 8:00. Don got up before me. After breakfast we begin our routine of getting things ready to go. We pulled out of the park about 9:15. We traveled 69 to I-40 West towards Little Rock. About 12:30 we stopped to get gas and it just happened to be at a Wal-Mart. Don mentioned a few things we might as well get while we were there so I ran in to pick them up. I fixed us each a sandwich and chips for lunch before leaving the parking lot. It's a lot easier to do while you are stopped. Not much further down the road and it was time for us to exit onto Hwy 9 towards Perryville. Once in Perryville we turned onto Hwy 300. About 1 mile down that road and we entered our park about 2:30. It is called Coffey Creek RV park. It is very small but it is on the lake. The water is very high and it is beautiful. We are probably only 100 yards from the lake. We can sit in the camper and see the lake out the windows. There are ducks and geese all around. It appears there are folks "jug fishing". It was a bit warm like home today in the 90's. We were set up in no time. It takes a while for the camper to cool down after being on the road. Don worked on routing for our trip back home and worked on the crocheting. Somewhere around 5:00 or so we decided to go get something for dinner. It looked a little dark when we left. We figured it would storm before long. The only restaurant was Sonic. Don nor I are fond of it but we made do. We ordered and came back to the camper to eat. We no more than got in and began to eat until it started raining. However no storm and it only lasted about 10 -15 minutes. Don continued to work on routing and I crocheting. Finally about 8:00 we went out to take some pictures and walk down to the lake. It had cooled off a good bit. It was done in the low 80's. the closer we got to the lake the cooler it got. There was a nice breeze coming in off the lake. At times it was even cool. It felt so good just setting on the patio over the water with the wind blowing. We headed back to the camper about 8:30 and Don continued routing and I crocheting. I think we are heading into Little Rock tomorrow. They have a river market there and I love those. I have enjoyed the River front area in Savannah with all their shops as well as the summer festival @ Beaufort, SC. Beaufort was a river market. We have been to other river markets in other cities but the names evade me at this time. Tonight's picture is of the lake here in Perryville at the campground we are at.
